Everyone who takes a class from Stephanie knows how she helps us all relax and enjoy making art. She has a way of brightening up the room and making you want to try new things! Stephanie says:
"I grew up in Thatcher, just west of Tremonton. I was the youngest of 6 and enjoyed living on a farm, next to my grandparents. I graduated high school in 2005 and after doing a semester changed to cosmetology. I finished that in a year, and then felt the need to serve a mission for my church. I was called to serve in Australia, where I found a second family.
I came home and went back to college. I got a job at the USU Barbershop and met my husband who also worked in the Student Center as a night manager. We were married in October 2011, and in the past 9 years we have had 3 wonderful children.
I have a habit of thinking I can do things that I have had no training in. I love art. I love painting. I love creating. I started a painting group in 2015, and that is where I fell in love with painting. For the past few years I have been teaching myself and others how to paint pictures. I also love music and playing the piano and ukulele. I love being with my family and friends."
Stephanie has a wonderful way of putting everyone at ease. This year, our Home/Preschool students get to enjoy making art with her. We love having her at Harmony Arts and Music Academy. Thanks for everything you do, Steph!
