Arts Activities, Science and lots of Exploration!
In HOME/PRESCHOOL, your child learns music through exploring the sights and sounds of various habitats: Home Place, Woodlands, Cattail Marsh and Meadow. This nature platform is a joyful way for your child to readily connect to music, art and nature!
Your little music maker will discover many of the different instrument families this year, and specific instruments will be demonstrated by guest musicians. You will see the wonder in your little one's eyes as they see, hear, touch and feel this live instrument demonstration.
Immediately your child will join together with classmates, creating instrument ensembles, hearing specific musical patterns within the context of a song, and reading and writing music notation! What an exciting year for your child! You will delight together in all that is being experienced and witness this growth during Parent Time and at home.
When appropriate for the child, HOME/PRESCHOOL can be taken for 2-3 years.

World

World Class prepares the child for first year KEYBOARD/PIANO class. Children explore a people and their culture through song, dance, and story specific to British, Native American, African-American and German cultures.
One goal is to make the connection from ear to page through reading, writing and playing music notation. Glockenspiel instruction is included and provides another way to reinforce their pattern vocabulary and work on fine motor skills needed to play piano. Children grow their rhythm and tonal patterns significantly this year, and they are so proud of what they can READ and PLAY!
When appropriate, World can be taken for two years.
