Group Guitar & Ukulele Class

Your student will love playing together in our "garage-band" style group class!
In this mixed-abilities class, every student plays what part they are able to play while experiencing the motivation of wanting to play their part with friends. Working in the group setting also fosters confidence in playing with and for others. Because mistakes and mess-ups happen in this incredibly safe space, students learn that perfection is not the expectation and willingly recommit to try again.
Students LOVE having the opportunity to rehearse and perform with a drummer or other musicians. This rare opportunity makes this class especially fun and worth-while.
Your guitarist or ukulelist will be motivated to play because they get to choose the music they learn!
Students quickly learn chords to accompany their singing and play simple melodies.

PPC
Personalized Piano Community

Your beginning through early-intermediate student experiences the best of both private lessons and group piano worlds!
Meeting with 4-6 friends, at their own digital piano stations and using headphones, your PPC student will really learn to practice! To find true self-motivation, students need to reach mastery on the material they are playing and this is what PPC helps a student achieve in each class. Feeling empowered because they go home knowing what to do, practice feels much easier and fosters more independence. Motivation occurs when students learn from their own effort. Practicing effectively makes learning easy and playing joyful!
In this supportive environment, students typically move faster than when enrolled in Private Lessons, because they have more supervised time with the teachers present and because they are more motivated by the group setting.
Content includes extensive micro and macro goal setting, dynamic group activities, note-learning contests, technique incentives, music theory, ear training, sight reading and performance pieces. Social benefits are experienced in a group setting, and students feel supported and mentored right from where they are at. Desiring to do their best, this brings out their best!
