Meet Meagan Stamps!

Meagan Stamps has taught PPC, guitar, ukulele, and piano at Harmony Arts since Fall of 2022. She says, “I can't remember my life before music. One of my earliest memories is my dad playing guitar for me every night to help me fall asleep. I have so many fun memories of my dad and sisters playing guitar as I grew up. My family loves to go camping together and sing along to a guitar around the campfire or while we look for shooting stars.

"I grew up surrounded by music. My 9 older siblings filled our house with many different kinds of music, from piano to violin to trumpets and drums. I wanted to be just like all my awesome big brothers and sisters and join in the fun. At about 6 years old, one of my sisters started teaching me piano. I've had many teachers over the years and they've all helped me progress and learn in lots of different ways. For the last few years, I've been able to share my love for music by teaching piano to my nieces and a few neighbors.

"In 8th grade, I started learning guitar at school and loved it! I kept up with it over the summer, and I was super excited to begin teaching guitar. Now that I've learned how to play, I have lots of fun playing together with my family."

Meagan is a student at Bear River High School. She loves children and grew up with lots of nieces and nephews. Other than teaching and music, she loves to hike, camp, read, watercolor, and spend time with friends and family.

We here at Harmony Arts are grateful for the contributions Meagan has made to our program. Next fall Meagan will be teaching from home and we wish her the very best. Thanks for making Harmony Arts a better place, Meagan!
