Meet Ellie Cummins!

Updated: Feb 20

My name is Ellie Cummins and I’m 15 years old. I grew up with 4 brothers, and I'm the middle child. I have lived in Tremonton with my mom and stepdad since we moved from Brigham in 2019. I began taking lessons at Harmony Arts soon after we moved here. I first took a liking to guitar, then I began piano. When the 2022-2023 school year began, I started working as an Office Assistant at Harmony Arts.

My entire life, I have always loved music, as if it’s a part of who I am. As a toddler, I would sing the same tune repeatedly, but with different lyrics every time that I had made up that day. As I got older, I began writing songs with more than one tune. I got a left-handed guitar when I was 8 or 9, but didn’t start playing until I got to Harmony Arts. I had always loved playing piano whenever I got the chance, so I wanted to learn to play.

I love playing sports, but more for fun, rather than being on a school team. I played basketball for a few years, and soon, tennis! I also love to read. I have quite a collection of books at home. My favorite genre is dystopian romance, so some of my favorite books are The Hunger Games and Divergent.

I’m so glad to be a part of Harmony Arts and to be able to get to know the rest of the staff and students!

Ellie, we're so grateful to have you here at HAMA! Thank you for everything you do to keep things running smoothly!
