Ingunn Kemble, Patricia Baldwin, and Frankie Watt Share in the anticipation – original prints hand-pulled form a small press – the printed image always a little different from the image on the press-ready plate. Watch how different techniques and mediums, along with the unique styles of the three printmakers, all lead to the creation of wonderful images pressed deeply into the fibers of the printmaking paper.

In Western Canada the great sound of the big band era is synonymous with one man, musician and bandleader Dal Richards. For over sixty years Dal Richards and his Orchestra have delighted Canadians with memorable dance music. |
Dal has been featured in two television documentaries and several music specials and has received many honours and accolades from the charities that he is been involved with over the years. His friends and fans affectionately call him “Dr. Swing”!
Dal Richards has drawn record numbers to the festival for the past several years, so we are excited to have him back this year.
