The Sweetpea Swing Band presents music by the likes of; Duke Ellington, Count Basie, Joe Oliver, Joe Primrose, Jimmie Noone, Fats Waller, Hoagy Carmichael, and Jelly Roll Morton. |
 |
The music presented by The Sweetpea Swing Band is arranged by band members Tim Sars, Alison Gorman, Andrew Smith, and Sam Scott as well as Vancouver's own Alan Matheson, Craig Scott, and Lloyd Arntzen.

Andrew Allen was born entertaining - with only a year under his belt as a solo artist, he’s shown that he not only has the drive, he’s got the whole highway!
Hitting the road with a full tank of finely tuned pop songs, an incredibly entertaining live show and what seems like limitless energy, Andrew has proved time and time again that his songwriting style – sandwiched uniquely between the styles of Jason Mraz, John Mayer and Maroon 5 – mixed with his quirky personality, are the right ingredients for success.

| Shari Ulrich's voice,
musicianship, and songwriting have become an integral part of the culture of BC
and Canada since she was first heard with Pied Pumkin in 1973. |
 |
Having just released her 7th solo CD "Find Our Way", and 19th
including her work with The Hometown Band, Ulrich Henderson Forbes, and Barney
Bentall & Tom Taylor, Shari is pleased to have her 20 year old daughter
Julia Graff and partner Bill Runge accompany her for this performance. Watching
Julia, Bill and Shari swap duties on piano, guitar, mandolin, violin, soprano
sax, accordion and vocals is entertaining in itself. The sonic variety is a
perfect backdrop to Shari's lyrical songwriting and voice. |
