Sempre String Orchestra
The core quartet; Karina Slupski (first violin), Larisa Lebeda (second violin), Jacek Dziobek (viola) and Aleksandra Dziobek (cello) have performed at thousands of concerts and events during their music careers.

Formed in 1999, the ensemble is comprised of four passionate Russian and Polish classically trained string players who now make Vancouver their home

This afternoon, they will be joined by four additional renowned string players, to form the Sempre String Orchestra; DeAnne Eisch (violin), Ruth Huang (violin), Beth Nickel (viola) & Ben Goheen (cello).

What better way to spend the holiday Monday afternoon than enjoying light classics by the sea.

A dynamic rock quartet with a heart full of love, Redgy Blackout's diversity defines their sound which ranges from funk and swing to reggae.

Their catchy songs are greatly enhanced by the versatile and expressive vocals of Vancouver theatre performer, Scott Perrie.

This roots/rock singer-songwriter has been turning heads for years with her blend of roots/blues/pop. Her warm and sultry voice, intelligent lyrics, memorable melodies and savvy personality add up to pretty much everything you want to see on a stage.

Recent winner of the Sonic Bids Nashville Song Contest, Babe’s latest release Chocolate Lilly has been garnering rave reviews in Canada and the US.

Her music has been compared to the likes of Bonnie Raitt, Lucinda Williams, John Hiatt and Shawn Colvin, yet she still retains her own unique acoustic sound and style.
