Fountain Concerts

Opening Reception
Presented by Pacific Arbour Retirement Communities

Featuring Redboot Trio
A gypsy jazz trio that took a left turn into Western swing? A Paris café band whose waltzes suddenly detour into wild Balkan dances? Just when you think you have the Redboot Trio pegged, they veer off into different musical territory, from fast-paced virtuosic instrumentals to heart-rending melodies, to soaring vocal harmonies, all delivered with fiendish skill and energy. Their debut album, "Liquor For Thieves" is now available.

Tangent featuring Linda Kidder and Rae Armour

Tangent, the inspired duo of Linda Kidder and Rae Armour, truly live up to their name. Tangent is a digression into the playfully sublime. These two talented singer/songwriters tell stories that can spontaneously combust into moments of extreme delight.

Linda Kidder, a two-time Juno award nominee, has traveled the world playing with kd Lang, has appeared on Leno and Letterman, and can be heard on the albums of Bon Jovi, Rita McNeil, Gary Fjellgaard and Connie Caldor.

Rae Armour opened for Faith Hill’s Live at Whistler Concert, and her 30 year singing career has included performances in New Zealand, Australia, and the US. Rae balances her Tangent time with a busy real estate career.

Armour and Kidder are also members of the all woman group AUGUST.
